Upon the death of Domenico dei Marchesi Serafini in 2014, the estate passed to his son Paolo, who immediately started the winery project under the direction of the winemaker Carlo Ferrini, and the experience of his cousin Gian Annibale Rossi di Medelana Serafini Ferri, the previous owner of the estate.

The production of three red wines is planned : Ghino di Tacco, a pure Sangiovese (first vintage 2020, available from November 2023); Neri di Bicci, a pure Mourvedre (first vintage 2022, available from January 2026); a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot (first vintage 2023, available from January 2027)
